We've compiled some of the benefits that you get when you have your home on Sunset Realty's vacation rental management program. In 2007, Sunset Realty will be celebrating 20 years of business and we are very proud and excited to have been able to serve our clients and customers for so many years. Sunset Realty is a successful vacation rental management company due to our desire to always improve.

  • Sunset Realty was the first company in Sunriver to offer a full color brochure.
  • Sunset Realty was the first company in Sunriver and the entire industry to offer clients the ability to access and book their reservation information online.
  • Sunset Realty does not charge owners a “Web Site” fee to post their property and we happily take photos free of charge while most of our competitors charge fees for these activities.
  • Sunset Realty was the first company in Sunriver to offer a “Sunset Perks” program for our guests and owners.
  • Sunset Realty was the first and still the only company in Sunriver to offer FREE high-speed internet access to our guests and owners in ALL of the properties we manage.
  • Sunset Realty was started when a number of our competitors had already been well established.  Through an aggressive fee structure, good customer service and excellent marketing, we are and have been the largest independent management company in Sunriver for the last 6 years.
  • Sunset Realty is the second largest room tax collector in the unincorporated areas of Deschutes County.
  • For 2006, Sunset Realty’s room tax collections are up by 9.56%.  Deschutes County room tax collections are up by 6.60%, which puts us almost 3% ahead of the curve.  This indicates that we are increasing our market share directly from our Sunriver competitors as the community of Sunriver historically accounts for 68% to 70% of the total room tax collections in the unincorporated areas of Descutes County. 
  • Sunset Realty contributes time, energy and money into a number of charitable organizations.
  • Sunset Realty strives to do a good job for our clients and guests while providing a good work environment for our employees.  
  • Sunset Realty has not actively marketed for new properties for our rental program for over 5 years.
  • Sunset Realty turned down approximately 200 properties for our rental management program in the last year.
