FEB 2 First Friday Gallery Walk. The streets of Bend fill with art patrons on the first Friday of every month as
Downtown Bend and Old Mill District art galleries stay open late with receptions for guest artists and special presentations
of new exhibits.
FEB 2-3 Moonlight Snowshoe Tours by Wanderlust Tours. Discover the Cascades under the bright moonlight
reflecting off the white snow. All trips depart at 7pm and include guide, snowshoes, instruction, transportation

FEB 2-4 The 2007 Bend Winterfest. This year the Festival hub moves to a new area of downtown Bend - Troy Field,
near Mcmenamins Old St. Francis School. Festivities kick off on Friday evening with A Winter Wine Walk & Barley Hop,
a Grand Fireworks Display over Mirror Pond, and the Rage Films Snowboard Rail Jam. Festival goers will enjoy all the
entertainment and activities that are associated with the WinterFest, including ice carving competitions, music tent, a
fine food & wine tent, beer garden, a children's area, skating events at Seventh Mountain Resort, and much more.
FEB 3 Fiddler on the Roof - Special Show for Children. Share the magic and music of Fiddler on the Roof at this
special Children’s Matinee performance designed for audiences aged 4 to 12 plus years of age, accompanied by an

FEB 3-4 Chevrolet U.S. Snowboard Grand Prix. This year Mt. Bachelor is the 2nd stop of the Chevrolet U.S. Snowboard
Grand Prix Tour. The Grand Prix events include Superpipe and Slopestyle and attract some of the world's best in the sport,
including Olympic Gold Medalist, Shaun White and Olympic Gold Medalist, Hannah Teter. Other top competitors include:
Silver Medalist, Mason Aguirre and Torino team members Daniel Kass and Ross Powers on the men's side;
Silver Medalist, Gretchen Bleiler and team members Kelly Clark and Lindsey Jacobellis for the women and The

FEB 23 Polar Plunge. The Bend Police Department, and Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office are teaming up to launch the
First Annual Polar Plunge to benefit Special Olympics Oregon. This is an opportunity for individuals, organizations, and
businesses to take the "plunge" and support local Special Olympics by jumping into the icy cold waters of the Dechutes
River. Costume Contest and dinner add to the fun. All spectators are welcome. WHERE: Near Columbia Street Bridge.
WHEN: Registration at 5:30 and Opening Ceremonies at 7pm. COST: To be eligible to participate, you must register and
raise a minimum of $50. Registration deadline is February 16. Participants receive a commemorative long-sleeve t-shirt
and dinner compliments of Bernie's BBQ and Bluefish Bistro. Supporters and Spectators can also enjoy the dinner for a
