Outdoor Romance

We've compiled some of the best places to pucker up and cuddle in Central Oregon over Valentine's day or anytime!

1. Bonfire on the Snow - Snowshoe a short way with a Wanderlust Tours guide to a secluded spot in the snowy forest to cuddle near a romantic “bonfire” in the middle of an amazing amphitheater hand carved into the snow! Relax around the fire while enjoying catered desserts and hot drinks.

2. Best View - The top of Lava Butte is a quiet and picturesque place to see all of Central Oregon, while getting a nice healthy walk under your belt. The road up to the Butte is closed during the winter months to vehicles. For a little adventure, walk the road up to the top of the Butte in the evening. The fire watch tower is open all day and night and offers spectacular views of all the mountains, Bend, and the stars. Step inside to warm up a little before your hike back down. I was proposed to at this spot, so it is especially romantic!

4. Love on Ice- Skate hand in hand to hip tunes on an outdoor ice-skating rink this Valentine's Day. Sunriver's ice-skating rink is covered and open 7 days a week.
