Special Olympics Oregon State Winter Games at Mt. Bachelor Ski
Resort
When: 9:00AM to 4:00PM, Cost: Free.   Athletes from around Oregon will be on Mt Bachelor for two days of competitions in the sports of alpine skiing (slalom, giant slalom, downhill), snowboarding, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.   Contact: Dan Cook - 503-248-0600 ext 23.

The streets of Bend fill with art patrons on the first Friday of every month as Downtown Bend and Old Mill District art galleries stay open late with receptions for guest artists and special presentations of new exhibits.  Hours are from 5-9pm.

The Seven Dancing Princesses

Sparrow Clubs Third Annual Fly Fishing and Golf Derby.
Where: Aspen Lakes GC, Sisters Oregon. 
The golf and fly fishing derby will begin Friday, April 18th with a silent auction and dinner hosted by Aspen Lakes Lodge at Brand 33. The event will continue on Saturday, April 19th at the private lake of Alder Creek Ranch located just east of Sisters with a dinner awards ceremony at Rock Springs Guest Ranch that evening. Sunday, April 20 Aspen Lakes Golf Course will host an 18-hole Golf Scramble Tournament on the W.L. Overdorf course. In the spirit of celebrating two of Central Oregon's greatest recreational opportunities, there will be a pre-event fly-fishing clinic hosted by world renowned fly fisherman, Denny Rickards at Alder Creek Ranch. Moonlight Snowshoe Tours by Wanderlust
. For four nights each month surrounding the full moon, snowshoe with a naturalist guide and experience the silence of nature under the bright winter moonlight. WHERE: Tour takes place in the High Cascade Mountains. Shuttle van pick-ups available in Bend & Sunriver. . annual alpine/Nordic/galande races for ages 7-14 at Mt Bachelor.  250 competitors and their families converge on Mt Bachelor for a season ending fun time!

Blues, Amuse and Brews.
Where: Midtown Ballroom, 51 NW Greenwood, Bend.  When:  5:00PM.  Cost: $40 ( includes 2 beer or wine drink coupons)
4th Annual Blues, Amuse and Brews is a fundraiser for Westside Village Magnet School and a really good party. Night includes cocktails, wandering the silent auction items, appetizers, music, dinner and comedy. Come join in the fun and support a great school.
