You won't want to miss the largest month long holiday celebration in Central Oregon. From elf tuck-ins for the kids to the Polar Bear Plunge and holiday brunch with Santa, Traditions at the Sunriver Resort has been a holiday spectacular like no other for the entire family. The winter wonderland festivities run through New Year's Eve. Here are a few more activities that the entire family will enjoy:

Gingerbread Junction - F*REE admission. Stroll down Cinnamon Lane and view the largest collection of Gingerbread houses in the Northwest. Feeling creative? Decorate your own gingerbread cookies on Dec. 10, 17 from 3:30-5pm. Cookies provided by the Sunriver Resort pastry chef. F*REE admission.

Breakfast with Santa - Saturdays & Sundays until Dec. 24, 8:30am to Noon. Enjoy a breakfast buffet with good company--Mr. and Mrs. Claus. $18 adults, $10 ages 12 & under. Reservations required.

Build a Bear Workshop - $25 per person. Learn from the master toy maker, and build a cuddly stuffed bear for a loved one, or even for yourself. Workshops from 1:45-3pm on Dec. 10,17. Then from 11am-1pm on Dec. 21, 30.

Northern Lights - F*REE admission. Ooh and aah at the spectacular Christmas tree illumination and light displays every Saturday at 6pm through Dec. 24th.

Sleigh Rides - $5 per person, Kids 12 & under are F*REE with a paying adult. Dash through the snow under a warm blanket in a horse-drawn open sleigh ride through Sunriver. Dec. 10-11, 17-18, 19-24 from 9am-11:30am.

The Sunriver Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Photos with Santa and Santa's Post Office in the Village Mall. Photos with Santa will be available from noon to 6pm on Dec. 21-23. Santa's Post Office will be open for mail where you can bring the little ones over for a hot cup of cocoa, cookies, and the chance to write a letter to ol' Saint Nick. Everything is provided! Available every Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6pm through Christmas. Be sure to enter the coloring contest, too!
