Spring has finally arrived. After a long winter of the best snow ever, I am looking forward to some terrific spring skiing well into the end of May. However, spring in Sunriver means more than just spring skiing. This month we have featured fishing as one of the Outdoor Adventure topics. Did you know that Central Oregon has some of the best large and small mouth Bass fishing in the west? So, pack a lunch, grab the kids and set out on a fishy adventure!

On a separate note, RE/MAX Sunset Realty is hosting the RE/MAX Offices of Central Oregon Wing Ding Gala and Golf Classic, benefiting the Sparrow Clubs on April 28th & 29th. In conjunction with the other area RE/MAX offices of Central Oregon, this will be our 6th year hosting this annual event. Last year we raised over 50,000 for the Sparrow Clubs, and we hope to double it this year.

The festivities start with the Wing Ding Gala at 6pm on Friday, April 28th at the historic Great Hall in the Sunriver Resort with hors d'ouevres, dinner and live and silent auctions along with a live performance by Andy Armer and the Bend Jazz Trio featuring vocalist Michelle Johnson. Some of the exciting live auction items include an African Safari, a trip to Puerto Vallarta, a foursome on the very exclusive and pristine Sanctuary Golf Course in Denver, Colorado, and much more. Then, get ready for a day of golf on Saturday April 29th on the championship Meadows Golf Course at the beautiful Sunriver Resort. Compete for prizes and join us for the awards luncheon immediately following the tournament.

A Fishy Adventure in Central Oregon
